Job Summary:
We are seeking a technically sound and proactive Technical Trainer to support our multi-brand training programs across two-wheeler and four-wheeler segments. The ideal candidate must be capable of delivering hands-on and theoretical sessions (both online and offline), assist in creating technical content, support training video shoots, and coordinate directly with mechanics and trainers. A working knowledge of regional languages and four-wheeler electronics is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Delivery & Facilitation
- Deliver technical training for 2W & 4W mechanics, dealer staff, and service teams in both online and offline formats.
- Conduct live troubleshooting demonstrations and explain diagnostic procedures using scan tools, multimeter, and real components.
- Facilitate interactive quizzes, tests, and certification assessments during sessions.
- Support on-ground practical sessions, including field visits and dealership-level interventions.
Technical Query Resolution
- Act as a technical support resource for post-training queries from technicians, trainers and mechanics.
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving issues related to EFI, ABS, sensors, actuators, electrical and electronic systems for 2W & 4W.
- Maintain a log of common troubleshooting issues, solutions, and follow-up actions for future training content improvement.
Content & Material Development
- Assist in creating and updating technical content: PowerPoint presentations, diagnostic charts, multilingual handouts, and reference manuals.
- Help prepare training scripts and support during technical video shoots—including faceless videos, demo setups, and post-shoot content review.
- Translate or coordinate simplified regional language content for mechanic-level understanding (Hindi/Marathi/Tamil/Telugu/Kannada/Bengali, etc.).
Coordination & Field Support
- Maintain training schedules, records, feedback, and learner progress.
- Provide on-site training support or shoot assistance when required.
- Assist in setting up training & shoot infrastructure, tools, and workshop preparation.
Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
- Certification in vehicle diagnostics or automotive training is an advantage.
Experience:
- 3–7 years of experience in technical training, technical support, or field servicing.
- Must have hands-on servicing experience with both two-wheelers and four-wheelers.
- Exposure to automotive training content creation or video shoot coordination is a big plus.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems: engine, fuel injection, transmission, ABS, EFI, electrical systems, emission control, and BS6 compliance.
- Good knowledge of four-wheeler electronics and wiring diagnostics.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools, scan tools, multimeter testing, and workshop equipment.
- Good command over MS PowerPoint, Excel, and training management tools.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication in Hindi and English (regional language skills are a plus).
- Ability to engage and manage a crowd, especially during practical sessions with limited trainer manpower.
- Strong coordination, time management, and problem-solving mindset.
Preferred:
- Experience working with OEMs, training academies, or technical content teams.
- Exposure to Electric Vehicles (EV) systems is a significant advantage.
- Willingness to travel across India and adapt to flexible working hours based on training schedules.
